Pembroke Privacy’s generic e-learning course will assist your staff’s understanding of, and compliance with, data protection law and the GDPR. The benefit of an e-learning course is that participants can attend at their own time, it can be used to train new staff and re-used for refresher training and it saves the DPO valuable time to undertake her/his many other tasks.
The Pembroke Privacy team has a wealth of experience in providing GDPR training “in-house” and via e-learning. Most recently we are proud to have created a bespoke online training course for the Department of the Taoiseach. We have also developed e-learning courses for many other clients including a number of hospitals, further details are set out below. While we can provide a bespoke product with a client’s branding etc, we have now also developed a cost-effective yet excellent e-learning product which can be purchased “off the shelf”. We can now bring our in-depth knowledge of data protection to life for your staff with this interactive e-learning course.
Upon completion of the course, trainees are awarded a certificate of completion. This also serves to demonstrate that data protection training has been provided to staff, which forms a part of your accountability obligations under the GDPR.
Our data protection e-learning course is hosted on our website and it is available to our clients via a secure portal accessed by a login process. Topics covered include:
Your staff can easily and quickly register for the course. They will be sent a link to the course which they can complete in their own time. Progression can be tracked, and reports can issue to you, detailing progress made by each participant. The course runs for 30 minutes and trainees can pause the course and return to the point where they left off. After concluding each topic, users will have the opportunity to test their knowledge by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire, the results of which can be tracked and reported.
