Data transfers from the EU to third countries or international organisations must be carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Organisations wishing to transfer personal data to jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area (EEA) must use an appropriate transfer mechanism to transfer the data lawfully.
In Pembroke Privacy we have developed a data transfer compliance documentation and process to streamline this complex and labour-intensive process. We complete transfer projects efficiently and effectively.
We have developed a state of the art data transfer compliance “Standard Operating Procedure” to streamline this complex and labour-intensive process.
Our data protection experts can take you through our Data Transfer Programme to ensure all data transfers are fully compliant with your data protection law obligations. Using bespoke documentation and templates and taking a project management approach we will arrange an Onboarding meeting where we will agree action points and timings for each element of the project including the creation of a Work Plan setting out key tasks, assigning responsibility and fixing deadlines for completion.
Your dedicated Pembroke Privacy team will work proactively and independently from the outset to quickly gain an understanding of the work required and build good working relationships with key stakeholders.
We will then implement the Work Plan which will typically consist of key tasks such as data mapping, contract reviews, the creation of a TIA templates and process; country law assessment; TIA assessment and training.
The final phase of the project will include sign off and implementation of supplementary measures
and transfer mechanism.
