General data protection awareness training for staff members typically comprises a half-day session of approximately three to four hours. The aim of the training session is to provide staff members with an overview of data protection law and an awareness of their obligations under the relevant legislations, including the GDPR and Irish data protection law. This training helps staff to carry out their daily work in a compliant manner; and also helps them to identify “red flags” and escalate these issues to the relevant person.
